October 5, 2011...LUX-TSI of Wales, UK, a solid-state lighting product testing laboratory, announced that it has signed a Preferred Partner Agreement with UL (Underwriters Laboratories), a company which advances safety standards. According to UL, the signing of the agreement expands UL's services for lighting product performance and safety certification and support in UK and Northern Europe.
UL reportedly selects its Preferred Partners (which are independent contractors of UL) based on service offerings that can provide efficient solutions and enhance certification packages to customers. In addition, UL provides Preferred Partners with further training, dedicated engineering resources and customer service support.
